Thank you for your interest in the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) AmeriCorps program. IPHA AmeriCorps members meet locally identified needs at health agencies across the State of Illinois through community service in the following focus areas: health promotion and outreach for programs serving youth, women, children and families; volunteer coordination; and assistance with community emergency preparedness.

Featured Member

Jamie Hadley is currently serving at the McLean County Health Department in the Public Health Emergency Planning and Response Program. One of her main projects is to assist with and promote emergency preparedness in the functional needs community of McLean County. Apart from her volunteer service for IPHA AmeriCorps, she is also a Medical Reserve Corps volunteer.

Jamie has most recently been awarded with the Governor’s Volunteer Award. She plans to serve two terms as an AmeriCorps volunteer before going to medical school to pursue her career goal in becoming a Physician.
